I was commissioned to design a logo and menu for the client to be used for a Mediterranean restaurant based in Mayfair. With no brand identity in place it was down to myself to make conscious typographical, colour and design choices for the deliverables. A minimalistic style using graphical elements of olive trees or Mediterranean features was explored. The demographic was 'well to-do', aged 30-60 customers. Dark colours were encouraged by the client.

Research of existing menu and restaurant logos was undertaken to ensure I knew of the competitors brand identities. Additionally, thinking about how the a brand and ethos can be reflected in an appropriate way to fit in with the theme of the project.
