In order to undertake a successful logo design fro this brief, there had to be a significant amount of discussion with the client to understand what what type of podcast and brand needs to be conveyed. A 'less is more' approach was the primary direction for this logo therefore, producing a vector was the way forward. This also means that the logo remains clear at any scale which depicted the message which the podcast portrays - clarity.
